Trust and relationships
Often we hear people use the catch phrase "trust is a two way street". What does trust really mean and entail in today's societal setting? The world we live in presently is a world of appearances and manipulation. That is a fact. The ruler of today's era is social media. The constant curration and need for approval and instant validation causes us to morph ourselves constantly. It reaches a point where many of us even forget who we really are. We often forget our true life purpose and the meaning of sincere belonging. Instead we shapeshift ourselves to fit in the mass. Humans have a crucial need for safety and connection. Trust is at the heart of it. There are countless studies proving that prolonged periods of isolation are detrimental to the human mind. We need one another, like bees or dogs.
